  • Heads Up uses Urban Arts to build relationships

Academia says it is WHAT you know.

Business says it is WHO you know.

Heads Up believes is not what you know or who you know - but who knows you and BELIEVES in you.

The research shows that the single greatest determinant of success is the presence of a mentor outside the family unit over the course of years. Heads Up uses creative arts as a tool to build relationships with urban youth to help them understand who they were made to be and develop their innate gifts and talents. Learn more about how Heads Up has been changing lives since 2007 around Lancaster, PA.

    Artist Mentors Are The Tools

Artist Mentors engage students a wide range of creative urban arts programs - music, dance, design, visual arts and educational programs - to build relationships and trust with students. In turn, those relationships build trust within families and allow us to have community-wide impact. Check out our VIDEOS to learn more!
The mission of Heads Up is to empower urban students through relationships and innovative educational experiences to discover their God-given potential.
